In Spain, certified translations are carried out by officially authorised certified translators and interpreters. You can check their authorisation by language using the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ official search engine.
The general framework is governed, amongst other regulations, by Royal Decree 724/2020 (BOE), which regulates the Office for Language Interpretation and the role of sworn translators. If your procedure is international, in some cases an apostille or legalisation may also be required, depending on the country.
