We translate the prospectus and all documentation addressed to investors and the market, with the precision demanded by a document on which an investment decision depends. For issuers, funds, asset managers and investor relations departments.
Investor documentation is the set of documents a company or fund uses to inform the market and raise capital: the prospectus for an issue or IPO, the key information document (KID/KIID), periodic reports, investor presentations and announcements of material information. They are regulated documents — in Spain by the CNMV, in Europe under the ESMA framework — and particularly sensitive, because investors make decisions based on them and their content carries liability. Translating them requires combining legal and financial judgement, taking care over every figure, every risk factor and every legal disclaimer, and keeping the terminology aligned with the regulations of the target market. Unlike financial statements (the accounts themselves) or a private round, here the capital raising is public and regulated.
The prospectus for an IPO, capital increase or debt issue, with its risk factors.
Key information documents, fund prospectuses and product factsheets for investors.
Investor decks, roadshows, annual reports and results presentations for shareholders and analysts.
Inside information, other relevant information and regulatory announcements addressed to the CNMV and the market.
Translators with legal and economic training who know the terminology of regulated markets and the language of the prospectus: risk factors, legal disclaimers, key information and figures. We review every amount, every percentage and every clause before delivery, so the document says exactly the same in the target language as in the original. Personalised service from start to finish.
Select the language and tell us the destination (country, market or investor). We adapt the regulatory and financial terminology to what the CNMV, European supervisors and investors in each country expect. English is the usual language of capital markets; if you don't see your combination, just ask.
We translate every piece of the documentation a company or fund uses to address the market, respecting format, tables, figures and legal disclaimers. We keep a regulatory glossary so the terminology is consistent across the prospectus, reports and presentations.
The full document for an issue or IPO, with risk factors and terms.
The components of the prospectus when it is structured as several documents.
The short document for funds and investment products aimed at retail investors.
The investor deck and roadshows used to present the project to the market.
The annual report and reports addressed to shareholders and investors.
The information communicated to the market and to supervisors.
The accounts that accompany the investor documentation.
All your company's economic and financial documentation.
Not everything given to an investor is translated the same way. The prospectus and regulated documentation require faithfulness and regulatory terminology; marketing material allows a more persuasive tone, but must be consistent with the official document. We help you treat each one as it should be.
The prospectus, the securities note, the KID/KIID and inside information announcements. Their content carries liability towards the investor, so the translation must be faithful, precise and aligned with the terminology of the CNMV and European supervisors.
The investor deck, summaries and marketing communications. They allow more accessible language adapted to the market, provided they do not contradict the prospectus or mislead on risks or figures.
A workflow with legal and numerical control: review of the document and its regulatory framework, a glossary of market terminology, translation by a specialist and a final check that every figure, risk and disclaimer matches the original. We confirm whether you need a sworn translation.
The prospectus, KID, report or presentation, ideally in an editable format, with its appendices.
NowWe confirm languages, target market, regulatory framework and whether a sworn translation is needed.

There is no single rate: a full prospectus, a KID or an investor presentation are very different documents. The price is worked out from these four factors, which is why we need to see the document before giving you a firm figure.
Send us these four details and we reply with the price, a feasible turnaround and the recommended delivery.
Much investor documentation is translated as a simple translation, to distribute it to the market or among international investors. But when a document must have legal effect before a public body, a supervisor, a registry or a third party — depending on what each procedure and jurisdiction requires — a sworn translation may be required, signed and stamped by an officially accredited sworn translator-interpreter. You can check accreditation by language in the official search tool of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. If you are not sure which format is being asked of you, we review it with you.
The general framework is governed, among other rules, by Royal Decree 724/2020 (BOE), which regulates the Language Interpreting Office and the role of the sworn translator. If your procedure is international, in some cases a Hague apostille or legalisation is also required depending on the country.
At Trayma we review the destination country and body with you before issuing the final version, so we can recommend the safest type of delivery and avoid rejections.
These are the documents we translate most often in market transactions and capital raising. If yours is not on the list, just ask: we cover the whole investor communication cycle.
